Duryodhana smiles and invites the Pandavas to a wonderful festival in Varanavata, where a beautiful new palace awaits them. But the palace is built of lac and wax and oil - made to burn. The brothers ride out of Hastinapura knowing, thanks to a secret warning, that they are riding into a trap.
