School days at Sandipani's ashram

Krishna's Path, stage 3 of 8: Mathura → Ujjain

Even Krishna goes to school! He travels to Ujjain to study at the ashram of guru Sandipani, learning the Vedas, the arts, and the use of every weapon in just sixty-four days. His best friend there is a poor boy named Sudama - and years later, when Sudama comes to golden Dwaraka with nothing but a little pouch of flattened rice, Krishna welcomes him like the dearest treasure in the world.
