Lanka (లంక)

Lanka was Ravana's island kingdom - a city so rich that its palaces and walls were said to be made of gold. It was mighty and beautiful, but it was built around one terrible wrong: Sita was held here against her will. Hanuman found her, burned the city with his blazing tail, and later Rama's army crossed the great bridge and fought the war that ended Ravana's rule.
