Indraprastha (ఇంద్రప్రస్థం)
Today: Delhi
On the ground where Khandava once stood, the Pandavas built Indraprastha - a city so splendid it was compared to Indra's own heaven. Its crown was the Maya Sabha, a palace of illusions built by the architect Maya, where floors looked like pools and pools looked like floors. Yudhishthira performed the great Rajasuya sacrifice here, and Duryodhana's jealous visit to the trick-filled palace planted the seeds of the dice game. Tradition places it right where Delhi stands today.
