Girivraja (గిరివ్రజం)
Today: Rajgir, Bihar
Girivraja, a city ringed by five hills, was the capital of Magadha and the fortress of the mighty king Jarasandha - so strong that no army could defeat him. So Krishna tried something cleverer: he walked in with Bhima and Arjuna, disguised as brahmanas, and challenged Jarasandha to a wrestling match. Bhima and Jarasandha wrestled for fourteen days before Bhima finally won, freeing the many kings Jarasandha had imprisoned.
